Every one of those numbers comes from Evolution's own game description or from independent coverage of the release. Your table's Game Information panel is still the final word, because operators configure limits themselves.

What is actually on the wheel

Forty-six of the 53 segments are leaves, split between a dark shade and a light shade. They pay even money and settle the moment the flapper stops.

The remaining seven segments carry fish. Four Lil' Blues, two Big Oranges, one Huge Red. That single red segment is the reason a 5,000x round is rare and the reason people keep watching.

So roughly 87% of spins land on a leaf and 13% open a bonus. That ratio is the whole shape of the game: frequent small settlements, occasional loud ones.

The six bet spots

You can back one spot or all of them. Each selection is charged separately, which is where most first sessions go wrong.

Leaf 1 and Leaf 2 are separate bets. Backing one does not cover the other, and a leaf result only pays the spot that matched. Treating all leaves as a single bet is the most common misreading of this game.

Eight seconds is short. Decide your stake before the window opens rather than during it, and use the repeat-bet button instead of rebuilding a layout under a countdown.

Multipliers decide the size of the round

Boosts land after betting closes, so nobody can buy into one. There are two separate kinds and they behave differently.

Leaf multiplier. One random segment can be assigned 3x, 4x, 5x, 7x or 10x. It lifts the payout of that one leaf only. Every other leaf on the wheel still pays 1:1.

Bonus multiplier. Every wheel segment tied to one bonus type can be assigned 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x or 10x. If that bonus then wins, all fish multipliers inside it rise before the first cast.

The 5,000x ceiling comes from stacking the two halves: a 10x bonus boost on the wheel and a 500x fish in Huge Reds. Both have to happen in the same round.

Inside the three bonus games

A fish result moves the show to an Arctic set. Under the ice sits a school of fish, each carrying its own multiplier. The host reels one in, and the retrieval tool telegraphs the size before the number is revealed: a rod for the everyday catch, a crane for something heavier, a helicopter for the top of the range.

Lil' Blues shows up four times more often than Huge Reds and pays a fifth as much at the top. That trade is the entire bonus menu in one line.

Everyone at the table watches the bonus. Only players holding a qualifying bet on that fish get paid. Watching a helicopter haul out a 300x fish while holding nothing is a normal Ice Fishing experience.

The other one: InOut's Ice Fish

Two casino games share this theme, and the search results mix them constantly. Evolution's Ice Fishing is the live show above. InOut Games' Ice Fish, released on 11 June 2026, is an instant, provably fair version of the same idea, and it is the one with a playable free demo.

The silhouette is nearly identical: two base spots paying 1:1, three fish bonuses at 100x, 200x and 500x, multipliers dropping after bets close. The numbers underneath are not.

Three differences decide which one suits you.

RTP. A leaf bet at Evolution returns 97.10% long run. Ice Fish runs one published figure of 95.5% across the game. On PKR 10,000 of turnover that gap is about PKR 160 in expected cost, which matters if you play a lot of base-spot rounds.

Ceiling. Evolution caps at 5,000x your bet, so a large stake scales with you. Ice Fish caps at 20,000 USD per round in absolute terms, which is generous at small stakes and binding at large ones.

Proof. Ice Fish ships a provably fair panel: you can verify that a completed round was not altered after your bet. The live show gives you a host, a camera and a licensed studio instead. Neither is weaker, they are different kinds of assurance.

What a PKR 150 round actually pays

Two things fall out of that table. Covering both leaves means one of them wins on about 87% of spins, and a plain leaf win only returns your two leaf chips: the winner pays 1:1, the loser cancels it out. Those rounds are break-even on the leaf pair and down the full bonus chip. Only a segment multiplier turns the leaf pair into profit.

The second point is smaller and costs people more. A fish multiplier applies to that bonus spot alone, never to your whole round stake. A 300x reveal on a PKR 50 bonus chip pays PKR 15,000, not 300 times your PKR 150 round.

RTP: what each bet costs to hold

RTP is a long-run price tag, not a session forecast. Published figures for Ice Fishing:

Leaf bets are the cheapest seat in the game by about 1.4 percentage points. Across a long session that gap is real money: PKR 227 per PKR 10,000 turned over, compared with Huge Reds.

That does not make leaves the right bet for everyone. They cannot produce a 500x reveal. It does mean the bonus spots are a premium you pay for volatility, and it is worth knowing the size of that premium.

Published figures vary slightly between sources, with the lowest quoted RTP for the game at 94.55%. Open Game Information at your table and read the version you are actually playing.

Reading the paytable in ten seconds

1. Open the game menu, then Help, Rules or Game Information.
2. Find the Payouts section and read Leaf 1 and Leaf 2 separately.
3. Check the RTP block for the exact figures on your table.
4. Note the minimum and maximum bet for each spot.
5. Note the maximum payout cap per round.

That cap matters. A 500x fish on a large bonus bet can run into a table limit before it runs into the 5,000x headline.

Bet sizing for an 8-second game

Rounds this fast eat a bankroll quickly. A round every 40 seconds is roughly 90 rounds an hour.

Work backwards from how long you want to sit, then divide. Setting the stake first and discovering your budget lasted eleven minutes is the standard way to have a bad session.

Flat stakes beat progressions here. Doubling after a loss in a game with 8-second rounds reaches the table maximum faster than you expect, and the wheel has no memory of the previous spin.

Six mistakes that cost first-timers money

• Counting one chip when four spots are lit. Your exposure is the sum of every spot.
• Treating Leaf 1 and Leaf 2 as one bet, then wondering why a leaf result paid nothing.
• Assuming a watched bonus pays everybody. It pays qualifying bets only.
• Chasing All Bonuses every round because bonuses look exciting. Seven segments in 53 is a 13% hit rate.
• Reading a 500x headline as a round return rather than a multiple of one bonus spot.
• Trying to place a bet in the last second. The window closes hard.

The folklore, and why it does not work

There is no hot segment, no due bonus and no pattern in the last twenty results. Each spin is independent, the multipliers are assigned after bets close, and no history panel changes the odds of the next flapper stop.
