Pick one or more of the six bet spots inside the 8-second window. Multipliers then land on random segments, the wheel spins, and the flapper picks one of 53 segments. A leaf win pays 1:1 on that leaf spot. A fish win sends everyone who backed that fish into the matching bonus game, where a single caught fish decides the multiplier.
Ice Fishing at a glance
Evolution launched Ice Fishing on 6 August 2025 as its first speed game show. The format is deliberately short: a live host, a virtual 53-segment wheel, and rounds that finish in well under a minute.
| Spec | Detail |
|---|---|
| Provider | Evolution |
| Released | 6 August 2025 |
| Format | Live game show with a virtual money wheel |
| Wheel | 53 segments |
| Leaf segments | 46, paying 1:1 |
| Fish segments | 7, opening a bonus game |
| Bet spots | Leaf 1, Leaf 2, Lil' Blues, Big Oranges, Huge Reds, All Bonuses |
| Betting window | About 8 seconds |
| Leaf multipliers | 3x, 4x, 5x, 7x, 10x on one random segment |
| Bonus multipliers | 2x to 10x, applied to a whole fish colour |
| Bonus ranges | 3x-100x, 4x-200x, 10x-500x |
| Best published RTP | 97.10% on leaf bets |
| Max win | 5,000x your bet |
| Typical bet range | €0.10 to €10,000, set by your operator |
Every one of those numbers comes from Evolution's own game description or from independent coverage of the release. Your table's Game Information panel is still the final word, because operators configure limits themselves.
What is actually on the wheel

Forty-six of the 53 segments are leaves, split between a dark shade and a light shade. They pay even money and settle the moment the flapper stops.
The remaining seven segments carry fish. Four Lil' Blues, two Big Oranges, one Huge Red. That single red segment is the reason a 5,000x round is rare and the reason people keep watching.
So roughly 87% of spins land on a leaf and 13% open a bonus. That ratio is the whole shape of the game: frequent small settlements, occasional loud ones.
The six bet spots
You can back one spot or all of them. Each selection is charged separately, which is where most first sessions go wrong.
| Bet spot | What it covers | Pays | Best published RTP |
|---|---|---|---|
| Leaf 1 | One of the two leaf shades | 1:1, boosted if that segment carried a multiplier | 97.10% |
| Leaf 2 | The other leaf shade | 1:1, boosted the same way | 97.10% |
| Lil' Blues | 4 segments | Entry to the 3x-100x bonus | 95.69% |
| Big Oranges | 2 segments | Entry to the 4x-200x bonus | 95.60% |
| Huge Reds | 1 segment | Entry to the 10x-500x bonus | 95.17% |
| All Bonuses | All 7 fish segments | Entry to whichever bonus lands | See the in-game payouts panel |
Leaf 1 and Leaf 2 are separate bets. Backing one does not cover the other, and a leaf result only pays the spot that matched. Treating all leaves as a single bet is the most common misreading of this game.
A round, second by second

| Phase | Roughly | What happens | What you can still do |
|---|---|---|---|
| Betting | 8 seconds | Chips go down on any of the six spots | Add, remove, double, repeat |
| Lock | Instant | The host calls no more bets | Nothing |
| Multipliers | 2-3 seconds | Boosts drop onto random segments | Watch |
| Spin | 5-8 seconds | The wheel turns and the flapper settles | Watch |
| Settlement or bonus | 2 seconds, or 20-30 with a bonus | Leaf wins pay out, fish wins open the bonus | Watch |
Eight seconds is short. Decide your stake before the window opens rather than during it, and use the repeat-bet button instead of rebuilding a layout under a countdown.
Multipliers decide the size of the round

Boosts land after betting closes, so nobody can buy into one. There are two separate kinds and they behave differently.
Leaf multiplier. One random segment can be assigned 3x, 4x, 5x, 7x or 10x. It lifts the payout of that one leaf only. Every other leaf on the wheel still pays 1:1.
Bonus multiplier. Every wheel segment tied to one bonus type can be assigned 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x or 10x. If that bonus then wins, all fish multipliers inside it rise before the first cast.
| Leaf multiplier | Bonus multiplier | |
|---|---|---|
| Applies to | One random segment | Every segment of one fish colour |
| Values | 3x, 4x, 5x, 7x, 10x | 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 10x |
| Effect | Boosts that leaf's 1:1 payout | Raises every fish multiplier in that bonus |
| When it matters | Only if the flapper stops there | Only if that bonus wins the spin |
The 5,000x ceiling comes from stacking the two halves: a 10x bonus boost on the wheel and a 500x fish in Huge Reds. Both have to happen in the same round.
Inside the three bonus games

A fish result moves the show to an Arctic set. Under the ice sits a school of fish, each carrying its own multiplier. The host reels one in, and the retrieval tool telegraphs the size before the number is revealed: a rod for the everyday catch, a crane for something heavier, a helicopter for the top of the range.
| Bonus | Segments | Base fish range | Boosted ceiling | Published RTP |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lil' Blues | 4 of 53 | 3x - 100x | Up to 1,000x with a 10x boost | 95.69% |
| Big Oranges | 2 of 53 | 4x - 200x | Up to 2,000x with a 10x boost | 95.60% |
| Huge Reds | 1 of 53 | 10x - 500x | Up to 5,000x with a 10x boost | 95.17% |
Lil' Blues shows up four times more often than Huge Reds and pays a fifth as much at the top. That trade is the entire bonus menu in one line.
Everyone at the table watches the bonus. Only players holding a qualifying bet on that fish get paid. Watching a helicopter haul out a 300x fish while holding nothing is a normal Ice Fishing experience.
The other one: InOut's Ice Fish
Two casino games share this theme, and the search results mix them constantly. Evolution's Ice Fishing is the live show above. InOut Games' Ice Fish, released on 11 June 2026, is an instant, provably fair version of the same idea, and it is the one with a playable free demo.

The silhouette is nearly identical: two base spots paying 1:1, three fish bonuses at 100x, 200x and 500x, multipliers dropping after bets close. The numbers underneath are not.

Three differences decide which one suits you.
RTP. A leaf bet at Evolution returns 97.10% long run. Ice Fish runs one published figure of 95.5% across the game. On PKR 10,000 of turnover that gap is about PKR 160 in expected cost, which matters if you play a lot of base-spot rounds.
Ceiling. Evolution caps at 5,000x your bet, so a large stake scales with you. Ice Fish caps at 20,000 USD per round in absolute terms, which is generous at small stakes and binding at large ones.
Proof. Ice Fish ships a provably fair panel: you can verify that a completed round was not altered after your bet. The live show gives you a host, a camera and a licensed studio instead. Neither is weaker, they are different kinds of assurance.
If you want to learn the mechanics without spending anything, start with the Ice Fish demo. If you want the studio format with the best base-bet RTP, the Evolution table is the one to look for in a live lobby.

What a PKR 150 round actually pays
Three spots at PKR 50 each: Leaf 1, Leaf 2 and Huge Reds. Total exposure PKR 150.
| Result | What settles | Return | Net on the round |
|---|---|---|---|
| Leaf 1, no multiplier | Leaf 1 pays 1:1 | PKR 100 | -50 |
| Leaf 1 with a 10x boost on that segment | Leaf 1 pays with the boost | PKR 500 | +350 |
| Leaf 2, no multiplier | Leaf 2 pays 1:1 | PKR 100 | -50 |
| Lil' Blues | Nothing, no blue bet | PKR 0 | -150 |
| Huge Reds, 40x fish | Bonus pays 40x the PKR 50 spot | PKR 2,000 | +1,850 |
| Huge Reds, 300x fish | Bonus pays 300x the PKR 50 spot | PKR 15,000 | +14,850 |
Two things fall out of that table. Covering both leaves means one of them wins on about 87% of spins, and a plain leaf win only returns your two leaf chips: the winner pays 1:1, the loser cancels it out. Those rounds are break-even on the leaf pair and down the full bonus chip. Only a segment multiplier turns the leaf pair into profit.
The second point is smaller and costs people more. A fish multiplier applies to that bonus spot alone, never to your whole round stake. A 300x reveal on a PKR 50 bonus chip pays PKR 15,000, not 300 times your PKR 150 round.
Run your own numbers on the real money and payments page, where the stake calculator does this arithmetic for any layout.
RTP: what each bet costs to hold
RTP is a long-run price tag, not a session forecast. Published figures for Ice Fishing:
| Bet | RTP | House edge | Cost per PKR 10,000 staked, long run |
|---|---|---|---|
| Leaf 1 or Leaf 2 | 97.10% | 2.90% | PKR 290 |
| Lil' Blues | 95.69% | 4.31% | PKR 431 |
| Big Oranges | 95.60% | 4.40% | PKR 440 |
| Huge Reds | 95.17% | 4.83% | PKR 517 |
Leaf bets are the cheapest seat in the game by about 1.4 percentage points. Across a long session that gap is real money: PKR 227 per PKR 10,000 turned over, compared with Huge Reds.
That does not make leaves the right bet for everyone. They cannot produce a 500x reveal. It does mean the bonus spots are a premium you pay for volatility, and it is worth knowing the size of that premium.
Published figures vary slightly between sources, with the lowest quoted RTP for the game at 94.55%. Open Game Information at your table and read the version you are actually playing.
Reading the paytable in ten seconds
- Open the game menu, then Help, Rules or Game Information.
- Find the Payouts section and read Leaf 1 and Leaf 2 separately.
- Check the RTP block for the exact figures on your table.
- Note the minimum and maximum bet for each spot.
- Note the maximum payout cap per round.
That cap matters. A 500x fish on a large bonus bet can run into a table limit before it runs into the 5,000x headline.
Bet sizing for an 8-second game
Rounds this fast eat a bankroll quickly. A round every 40 seconds is roughly 90 rounds an hour.
| Session budget | Rounds you want | Per round | Sensible layout |
|---|---|---|---|
| PKR 1,000 | 40 | PKR 25 | One leaf spot |
| PKR 2,500 | 50 | PKR 50 | One leaf plus one bonus spot |
| PKR 5,000 | 60 | PKR 80 | Two leaves plus Lil' Blues |
| PKR 10,000 | 80 | PKR 125 | Two leaves plus two bonus spots |
Work backwards from how long you want to sit, then divide. Setting the stake first and discovering your budget lasted eleven minutes is the standard way to have a bad session.
Flat stakes beat progressions here. Doubling after a loss in a game with 8-second rounds reaches the table maximum faster than you expect, and the wheel has no memory of the previous spin.
Six mistakes that cost first-timers money
- Counting one chip when four spots are lit. Your exposure is the sum of every spot.
- Treating Leaf 1 and Leaf 2 as one bet, then wondering why a leaf result paid nothing.
- Assuming a watched bonus pays everybody. It pays qualifying bets only.
- Chasing All Bonuses every round because bonuses look exciting. Seven segments in 53 is a 13% hit rate.
- Reading a 500x headline as a round return rather than a multiple of one bonus spot.
- Trying to place a bet in the last second. The window closes hard.
The folklore, and why it does not work
There is no hot segment, no due bonus and no pattern in the last twenty results. Each spin is independent, the multipliers are assigned after bets close, and no history panel changes the odds of the next flapper stop.
Anything sold as an Ice Fishing predictor, signal group or hack is selling you a list of past results with confidence attached. The decisions that genuinely move your numbers are the ones above: which spot you back, how much you stake, and how long you sit.
Read is Ice Fishing real or fake for the checks that separate the game from the apps and channels trading on its name.
Check the rules yourself, free
Two free routes, and neither asks for anything.
Evolution's Ice Fishing game page runs a presentation of a complete round: the betting board, the multiplier drop, the wheel and a Huge Reds catch. Twenty seconds, no account.
InOut's Ice Fish demo goes further and lets you play. Place chips, watch the window close, see the boosts land and take a bonus round yourself on play money. It is the fastest way to turn this page into something you have actually done.
Then open the Payouts or Game rules panel at whichever table you end up using. Operators configure limits themselves, and that panel is the only version that governs your money.
How to play: your questions
Is Ice Fishing a slot or a live game show?
A live game show. Evolution runs it with a host on camera and a virtual 53-segment money wheel, and calls it a speed game show because rounds finish in well under a minute.
What is the RTP of Ice Fishing?
Leaf bets carry the best published figure at 97.10%. The bonus spots sit lower: 95.69% on Lil’ Blues, 95.60% on Big Oranges and 95.17% on Huge Reds. Confirm the numbers in your table’s Game Information panel.
What is the maximum win in Ice Fishing?
5,000x your bet. It needs a 10x bonus multiplier on the wheel and a 500x fish inside Huge Reds in the same round.
Can I bet on more than one spot in a round?
Yes, and most players do. Every spot is charged separately, so three chips of PKR 50 is a PKR 150 round, not PKR 50.
Does watching a fishing bonus mean I win?
No. Everyone at the table sees the bonus, but only players holding a bet on that specific fish spot are paid.
What is the difference between Leaf 1 and Leaf 2?
They are the two leaf shades on the wheel, and they are separate bets. A Leaf 1 result pays the Leaf 1 spot only.
